Hi,
I have heard is that it feels like prayer does not do any good, like the prayers are empty and go no higher than the ceiling. It is easy to lose heart in prayer, so we understand what Jesus means when he encourages us not to lose heart. We just do not know how to do anything to keep ourselves from losing heart. But, we have a more difficult time understanding the instruction to pray always.
