tdaSo we were at the Daniel Academy today. We were being interviewed by the Principle of the school, which seemed a little intimidating at first, but turned out to be very social and laid back. It was very enjoyable.

The Daniel Academy is basically a school run by IHOPers for grades K-12. Here is their description:

The Daniel Academy is a unique school designed to develop present day Daniels who will understand the times and influence society. We seek to develop students who are well educated and trained in both academics and spiritual understanding, cultivating pure hearts, endowed with discernment, and having the ability to serve in the courts of the present day kings (Daniel 1:4).

We seek to gather like-minded families to pursue God together, raising our children in a Daniel-lifestyle of prayer, fasting and learning with marvelous comrades.

davidYou can choose to enroll your kids for 2 classes, 4 classes or 6 classes (6 being full-time). If you go with 2 or 4 classes, you use this school as a supplement to home schooling. They also incorporate night and day prayer into the lifestyle of the students by having class Mon, Wed, Fri… and Tuesdays is prayer room time. They have 3 hour bible studies every Wednesday, and student led worship and prayer every day they meet for class.

David is going to be starting in the Fall at least part time, and we are really excited for him. He’s also really excited about going as well.
