Christmas is here…

A great season a great day of the year. Christmas has new meaning this year because its really kind of a new thing for David, which makes teaching him about it is a new thing as parents for Stephanie and I. He has had 3 other Christmas seasons, but he doesn’t really remember them and He understands so much more this year.

So as a Parker family Christmas tradition, this past weekend we went to see the “Follow the Star” production that Killearn United Methodist put on this year. We got to take David on a hay ride and were able to explain to him what Christmas was really all about.

Then we went to the “Movies in the park” where they showed three classic Christmas cartoons on a movie screen. We saw “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, and “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”. They served free hot chocolate, popcorn and had lots of cookies and goodies for us to eat. David was in heaven basically.

This was the cold weekend which got to a low of 21 degrees. Which by the way kindof bothers me.
